Well its been a much quieter week on the family violence front this week...
Pledges slowly bringing Kate Shepard back to life:
A national campaign titled #bringbackkate which aims to bring Kate Sheppard back to life as a three metre, 80 kilo, 3D figure is gaining support.
The campaign, launched by Women's Refuge, is using social media to encourage the public to sign a pledge supporting an end to violence against women.
New ambassador for White Ribbon:
A Whangarei man whose sister was killed in a highly public case of domestic violence will today become an ambassador for anti-violence group White Ribbon.
Parents empowered to settle outside of Court:
According to Justice Minister Judith Collins, more parents are resolving their disputes outside of court following the Government's family justice reforms.
