An introduction to sexual violence facilitated by specialists working in the field.

Tautoko Mai will be delivering an introduction to sexual violence workshop. This is suitable for those wanting to update and refresh their knowledge and understanding of this sensitive topic and feel it would be relevant to their role. This includes social workers, counsellors, teachers, health workers, community agencies and those working specifically in the sexual violence and family violence sector.
This training has been updated for 2024 to fit the ever-changing world we are living in and includes topics such as the legislation and justice system, responding to disclosures, survivor impact and the porn landscape.
A light lunch will be provided.
There is no parking on the University of Waitkato (Tauranga) campus, however there is a car park opposite the main building and multiple parking options throughout the city centre.
