Submissions sought for Alcohol Advertising & Sponsorship Forum
March 20, 2014 at 8:32 AM
The Ministerial Forum on Alcohol Advertising & Sponsorship will report later this year to the Minister of Justice and the Associate Minister of Health with evidence-based advice and recommendations.
The forum is seeking submissions about the impact of alcohol advertising and sponsorship and whether additional restrictions in either of these areas are needed to reduce alcohol-related harm.
The forum is particularly interested in receiving evidence that has emerged over the last four years since this issue was reviewed by the Law Commission.
The submission period runs until 28 April 2014.
For further details around the work of the forum, including its membership, and how to make a submission, please follow this link: www.health.govt.nz/our-work/mental-health-and-addictions/alcohol/ministerial-forum-alcohol-advertising-and-sponsorship
