The ECLIPSE Risk Analysis & Safety Strategising. A Whole of Person Approach training has been developed to encourage people who work with whānau experiencing family violence to also consider, beyond the immediate risk indicators, the continuum of harm, and to recognise cumulative impact and acts of resistance.
Listing of training and other events does not constitute endorsement by the New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse. Information is as provided by the organiser. For further information or queries about training or events, please contact the organiser using the links or contact details provided.
This training will show that effective risk analysis and safety strategising is recognising the need to assess all risks and safety indicators that surround the Whole of the Person the attendees will be working with. They are more than 'just' victims of violence and risk of harm can exist in other aspects of primary victims' lives, such as gang association, retaliatory violence etc.
This workshop runs across two consecutive days, with one two-hour session each day. For more information on the content of this training, please visit the ECLIPSE: Family Violence Services event page.
