Minister Bennett clarifies on ISO
August 07, 2013 at 5:00 PM
Minister Paula Bennett explains that ISO is...change in approach from the inside out.
'When I’m out and about visiting NGOs around the country I often hear their concerns that Government expects them to merge. It is not my intention to force organisations into mergers or to join up for the sake of it and there is no intention to build mega-organisations.
I am very supportive of small organisations remaining the nimble, responsive entities they are if they are performing well.'
She concedes that some organisations maybe essential to join up and share back office functions.
