Experiential workshops for everyone who leads or aspires to lead a group or team
Led by Dr. Craig Whisker
Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker,
Certificated Educator, Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Psychodrama Assn.
These professional development workshops offer current and prospective group work leaders or team leaders the opportunity to engage in an experiential group work education process over 4-5 days. Participants will meet as a group led by Dr. Craig Whisker for 1.5 hours 4 times per day to explore the particular purposes and goals they have come to the workshop to achieve. The process will involve self-presentation, teaching, coaching, supervised practice, the making of assessments about the group, planning for effective group interventions, and getting involved in each other’s learning. No previous group work leadership experience necessary.
