From the Ministry of Social Development – https://www.msd.govt.nz/about-msd-and-our-work/work-programmes/initiatives/family-and-sexual-violence/ethnic-communities-innovation-fund.html
The Ethnic Communities Innovation Fund (ECIF) is a community innovation fund open to all ethnic groups across Aotearoa New Zealand for the prevention of family and sexual violence.
ECIF aims to promote the safety and wellbeing of ethnic people by supporting community-driven initiatives for preventing family and sexual violence. The funding will support ethnic communities to develop and deliver solutions and activities for safe, healthy, and diverse ethnic families and communities.
ECIF also offers opportunities to pilot a range of family and sexual violence prevention approaches and activities with ethnic communities across Aotearoa. This will grow the evidence base of what works to support the safety and wellbeing of ethnic people.
Applications can be made for funding up to the maximum of $45,000 per organisation for 12 months. This funding is open to all regions across New Zealand.
Ethnic Communities Innovation Fund is open for submissions until 9 December 2023.
