Communicating Across Cultures & Team Work
Today’s workplaces are more diverse than ever and Auckland is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world.
While this is a rich learning opportunity, it can present challenges for our workplaces and teams. From simple issues of understanding language, to more complex cultural issues there is plenty of scope for misinterpretation. This workshop introduces ways of understanding the background to cultural differences, so we can enrich and improve our workplaces and teams.
This introductory, interactive and fun workshop will help you:
- discover some of the central issues in cultural differences
- develop some tips for dealing with these and improving team work
- improve both your self-awareness and you cultural awareness
