Discover how VOYCE actively engages with young people in care to ascertain their needs, facilitate dialogues and collaborate with partners and government bodies to drive positive change. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of VOYCE–Whakarongo Mai's essential role in championing the voices and rights of tamariki and rangatahi in the care system. VOYCE–Whakarongo Mai operates as a staunch advocate for young people in care, emphasising the crucial importance of ensuring their voices resonate with both government entities and the care system itself.
