Join Rosie Leadbitter from InsideOUT for a kōrero about supporting and affirming rainbow & takatāpui communities in your roles. This session will be suitable for anyone, no matter where they are at on their learning journey with this kaupapa, and questions are encouraged! 

The session will cover: 

  • Statistics and research on rainbow young people's experiences in Aotearoa 

  • Key tips on having conversations that make space for young rainbow and takatāpui people to share and discuss their identities 

  • Guidance around supporting rainbow & takatāpui rangatahi and whānau in ways that are mana-enhancing 

  • Resources and further information for young people and their caregivers, as well as for those working in support roles.

InsideOUT is a national rainbow charity whose vision is for an Aotearoa where all rainbow and takatāpui young people feel safe and included in their schools and communities.
