On Thursday 21 March 2013 Peter, Asenaca and Jo from WAVES Trust attended the seminar at UNITEC, Henderson presented by Associate Professor Carol Plummer, Fulbright Scholar from the Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work, University of Hawaii.
Titled ‘Child Abuse in Context – Solutions for the Real World’, Plummer argued the case for bridging the gap between research and practice outlining a methodology for promoting prevention and intervention strategies by focusing on child abuse in the broader context of social, community and family relationships.
