Legal Highs in our Community
March 27, 2014 at 10:42 AM
Last Friday (21 March) a community meeting was held to raise awareness of the impact of legal highs in our community. Facilitated by Waitakere Community Law in conjunction with Community Waitakere, the meeting attracted a significant number of people from our community who voiced their concerns about the impact of legal highs particularly on young people.
This website provides a good overview of the Pschoactive Substances Act 2013 for those who are interested in what the legislation covers.
You can also read more about the meeting here.
