Child Matters and Shine are co-hosting a 2-day workshop promoting awareness of child abuse and family violence and exploring the links between these chronic and persistent social issues. The Workshop will consider the range of negative outcomes that are created, especially for children and non-abusive parents, and tackle the challenges of developing practical strategies for interventions that will enable effective, multi-agency networking and collaboration. There will be a focus on how to keep adult and child victims safe and engaging with family members who use violence in their domestic relationships.
