Implementing Te Aorerekura – a survey of children and young people’s participation

NGOs are invited to contribute their knowledge and information about current child and youth participation mechanisms, to inform the Joint Venture’s understanding of what currently exists and what else may be needed. Action 5 of the National Strategy to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence is focused on engaging and valuing communities in collective monitoring, sharing and learning. As part of this work, the Joint Venture to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence is working to understand what government and non-government agencies currently have in place to enable the participation of different population groups. A short survey has been created to give the Joint Venture information about how community organisations are currently working
