Group Leadership Training
Workshop 1 – Foundation: Saturday 2 April, 9.30am - 4.30pm
For new facilitators to gain confidence and an understanding of group processes, facilitation styles and techniques, e.g. building rapport, creating a learning environment and planning sessions.
Workshop 2 – Intermediate: Saturday 30 April, 9.30am – 4.30pm
For people with facilitation experience in any type of group, who would like to know some key group concepts, to learn more about group dynamics, unconscious processes and attending to a range of group behaviours. Involves participating in experiential practise.
Workshop 3 – Co-facilitation: Saturday 25 June, 9.30am - 4.30pm
For people who have attended Workshop 2, to extend their understandings of conscious and unconscious dynamics in co-facilitation; to practise processes that help to develop an equal partnership and enhanced creativity. Participants can attend without their co-facilitator.
Workshop 4 – Next Step: Saturday 16 July, 9.30am – 4.30pm
For people who have attended Workshop 2 to learn more about action methods and to share and discover skills through drawing on the concerns of participants. Half-price to repeaters.

Workshop Fee: $100 to be paid 9 days in advance when viability of workshop is decided

Personal Growth Groups
These groups are for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of themselves and others; which can lead to more choices, greater confidence and better relationships. They offer a supportive environment, and each totals 22 hours, thus meeting NZAC requirement that new counsellors have participated in a group therapeutic process.
Manukau Shopping Centre: 2 Saturdays 9.30am - 3pm 19 March, 9 April plus 5 Monday evenings: 6.30pm - 9pm, 7 March, 14 March, 28 March, 4 April, 11 April.
Westmere, Central Auckland: 2 Saturdays 9.30am - 3pm 14 May, 11 June plus 5 Monday evenings: 6.30pm - 9pm, 9 May, 23 May, 30 May, 6 June, 13 June.
Fees: $330 needs to be paid ten days in advance, when viability of the group will be decided.
$360 for any payment later than this, or fee by instalments. $30 discount for students.
