Family Action is a well-respected not for profit agency in West Auckland specialising in working with families, women, children and young people how have experienced family violence, sexual violence or trauma.
The board welcomes “Expressions of Interest” from people interested in serving as a Governance Committee member of Family Action- whanau toa.
To register your interest please submit a covering letter outlining the reasons for putting yourself forward for nomination, your relevant experience and skills, and any other information you feel appropriate to the role or in support of your nomination.
In particular, the following skills are sought but not essential:
- Governance experience
- Knowledge of the community
- Commercial Expertise
- Fundraising skills
