Dayspring invitation:
Come and join us on a fun and practical parenting course aimed at the Early Years (0–6) age group. We all want to be great parents, and you will go home with a whole new set of parenting tools and ideas.
So come along:
Relax, have a cuppa and a biscuit.
Watch videos, laugh, have fun
Try out new strategies and learn from others.
Get a comprehensive manual to keep.
Results to expect:
More confidence and reduced stress.
New enjoyment of parenting and increased experience of love.
More co-operative children and big increase in family fun.
Qualify for a Certificate from Aorangi Polytechnic.
Topics:
Different parenting styles, and the style that works best.
Physical and emotional needs of children.
Different ages and stages.
How to engage children’s co-operation.
How to handle difficult behaviour and stay sane!
Creating a childhood to remember.
The Five Love Languages.
Dates: Six Monday mornings – March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8. 2013.
Times: 10am – 12.15pm.
Cost: $67.50 per person or $90 per couple (subsidy available).
