The Diploma in Child Protection Studies is an advanced level training in child protection and advocacy, designed to develop leaders and 'go-to' child protection resources within organisations and communities.
Delivered solely by Child Matters, the Diploma in Child Protection Studies is a nationally recognised, NZQA accredited tertiary qualification, and the only specialist child advocacy qualification in New Zealand.
Graduates of the Diploma add value to organisations and communities by;
- Becoming multi-faceted experts in child protection, including policy development and staff support
- Raising community knowledge and awareness around child protection and advocacy
- Critically analysing situations and problem-solving
- Developing valuable networks with key community, government and media contacts
