Call for volunteers for the Toddler Day Out and Great Parenting Fair 2016
The Toddler Day Out and Great Parenting Fair is lively, exciting and interactive event, with fun and entertainment for the 0-5s and plenty of information, advice and support for parents and carers. This year's theme is 'Happy Healthy Families' and is happening at the Massey Leisure Centre in Don Buck Road, and is supported by Violence Free Communities, the YMCA and Healthy Families.
There are a number of roles on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th, and these can be shared or rotated around. Choose from:
Event set up - physical role
- Laying floor tiles – Friday 13th 12-3pm
- Helping set up gazebos and decorating stalls - Friday 13th 3pm – 6pm
Saturday 14th – 9.30am -3pm
- General event wardens
- Car park wardens
- Evaluation/prize draw survey collectors
- Giveaway helper
- Stall holders’ liaison
- Stage area helpers
- Interactive area support
- Breastfeeding area monitor
- VIP speaker liaisons
- Lost child area
- Bin emptiers/litter pickers
- Pack down helpers – 3.30 – 4pm
