WAVES Trust and Auckland Disability Law, supported by funding from
Making a Difference, invite you to a free community workshop:

How can we work together to protect disabled people in our community?

This aim of this work shop is to develop:

  • an understanding of changing attitudes towards disability
  • an appreciation of the lived experience of disabled people - service needs and barriers to accessing services
  • an awareness of current practices and ways of working with disabled people
  • knowledge about the legislation and policy framework for disability rights
  • the opportunity to explore next steps in working towards change in this area.
