Workforce Capability workshop - Auckland
February 16, 2018 at 12:10 PM
*From the SSPA*
SSPA is leading a project on workforce development, in partnership with Careerforce, the ITO for the social services sector.
This is an important project for our sector and we hope you will contribute your knowledge and expertise. The series of workshops will make a key contribution to the final report to Careerforce, which will be the basis for SSPA to work with Careerforce and others to build a workforce capability action plan for the sector.
This workshop has been designed to be fully interactive, seeking sector participants’ ideas on how most effectively we can build the capability of our workforce.
We are anticipating that as the experts you can help design how the social sector workforce capability should look in the future. Additional background material will be sent out to those who have registered one week before the workshop.
Organisations are invited to send one or two people who have key roles in relation to their workforce, whether that be front-line, operational or strategic.
Participants will be expected to draw on their expertise and experience, to be actively engaged throughout the session and, hopefully, to retain an interest in both the project and the longer-term process as the work is taken forward by Careerforce and SSPA.
