Conference theme: "Together we grow in knowledge"
This is the third national ‘WISE UP’ conference held and organised by an Auckland collective of NGO social service providers.
The focus of the WISE UP conference is for social workers and youth workers who work within an educational context to develop critical thinking, and grow knowledge and skills.
Topics of interest:
- Inclusion, integration and transformation
- Trauma Informed Practice
- Building resilience (within the workforce and for the young people we work with)
- Transformative practice
Guide for authors:
The deadline to submit abstracts is 30 June 2017.
To submit your abstract, please email to taniab@atwc.org.nz. Heading ‘conference abstract’. 150 words maximum for the abstract. Please include a photo and brief bio you would like used for the conference programme.
Notification of acceptance: 28 July 2017
Deadline for final paper submission: 15 September 2017
