Transitioning from OOHC for Practitioners: Applying International Evidence

November 15, 2019 at 11:37 AM

From Research Centre for Better Outcomes

About the workshop: This one-day participatory training workshop is designed for managers with transitioning from care and/or out-of-home care responsibilities. Spanning transition preparation, extended care, relationship-based support, and accommodation, the latest international evidence is distilled down to a selection of the most relevant and actionable management strategies, frameworks and tools available. Engaging in assessing, selecting, and planning their use, participants will also discuss the evidence base, challenge ideas, and reflect upon how these strategies, frameworks and tools can be applied to their own organisations, structures and approaches, allowing participants to confidently plan, implement and manage positive changes, and achieve better outcomes.

Who is this workshop for? This workshop is specifically designed for strategic, program and operational managers with transitioning from care and/or out-of-home care responsibilities, as well as those in related functions such as policy, service development, quality assurance, contracting, training and research.
