An opportunity to see the online premiere of the short film Tash, written, directed, illustrated and narrated by young filmmaker and inaugural member of Family Safety Victoria's Victim Survivors' Advisory Council, Natasha Anderson.

The film has screened to sold out cinemas at Australian and International film festivals and was nominated for Australia’s most prestigious film award for short animation – the Yoram Gross Animation Award at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival.

The film tells the story of Tash (Natasha Anderson) growing up experiencing family violence and living in out of home care.

The live screening will be followed by a Q&A with special guest panellists including Natasha Anderson, fellow young filmmaker and family violence advocate Annika McCaffrey and the Victorian Minister for Prevention of Family Violence, Gabrielle Williams MP. The event will be hosted by Victim Survivors' Advisory Council member Kym Valentine.
