Postgraduate Semester 2 course on Youth Addictions & Co-Existing Problems
June 17, 2022 at 3:54 PM
This University of Auckland course (PSYCHIAT 766) developed by Child & Addictions psychiatrist Dr Grant Christie, runs in Semester 2 (July – November 2022), and covers a range of topics.
Most coursework is online; the course is for student-clinicians across the country. The course also includes a two-day teaching block on campus (University of Auckland, Grafton Campus) on Tues 13 & Wed 14 September 2022, and self-organised visits to two Alcohol & Drug treatment settings.
This course is fully funded – to be eligible, you need a degree and a focus of your work needs to be on the assessment and treatment of children or adolescents with mental health difficulties, at least some of whom also have substance use difficulties.
