Postgraduate Courses in Infant, Child & Adolescent Mental Health
December 20, 2019 at 12:48 PM
From the University of Auckland
These courses are designed to develop the knowledge and skills of those whose work includes a focus on helping children and / or adolescents with mental health difficulties.
Since these courses began in 1998, the Postgraduate Certificate (the core courses / qualification) has been completed by almost 500 student-clinicians from all parts of New Zealand. Many have gone on to complete the other courses (the "elective" courses - Diploma and Masters).
Most have been nurses, occupational therapists and social workers working in ICAMH or similar services. Over the years, there have also been a number of psychologists, trainee psychiatrists, GP’s and school counsellors.
The deadline to apply is January 2020.
