The New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse May newsletter is now available.
In this issue:
Coming soon - Creating change: Mobilising New Zealand communities to prevent family violence, NZFVC Issues Paper 8 will be published in May. We will send an alert when it is available online. Previous Issues papers are all available on the website.
Other news, views, and happenings in brief:
- Understanding overrepresentation of indigenous children in child welfare data, a journal article written by Fiona Cram, Pauline Gulliver, Rissa Ota and Moira Wilson, has just been published.
- Superu has published Reducing the impact of alcohol on family violence, the second in theWhat works series. The selected bibliography on alcohol and other drugs and family violence from the Clearinghouse has been updated to include this.
- Register now for A Call to Men - Men's Hui 2015to be held in Te Ahuahu, Northland, 8-10 May.
- Domestic violence and the legal system. There are still some places available for this Clearinghouse seminar in Auckland on 12 May. Registration required.
