In the last newsletter for 2014, we highlight our latest Issues Paper, Intimate partner violence and the workplace, and the publication of two journal articles exploring women's use of violence against violent partners based on data from the New Zealand Violence Against Women study. You will find more information about these at the beginning of the Resources section.
Other news, views, and happenings in brief:
- The Glenn Inquiry has published its final report: The People's Blueprint as well as a report on changing perpetrator behaviour
- The Lancet has published a series of articles on eliminating violence against women and girls by international experts, freely available online
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (USA) has released a framework to help communities promote relationships and environments which prevent child abuse and neglect
- The World Health Organization has published the Global Status Report on Violence Prevention 2014 and a clinical handbook for health care providers on responding to violence against women.
