No conviction for leaving children outside casino

The Social Workers Registration Board is concerned for the acccountability and professionalism of the social work sector with the courts decision to discharge without conviction a mother who locked her 5 children in a van while she gambled because she wanted to be a social worker. This will impact on the standards of the social work profession, more so under the current voluntary registration system. Social workers are expected to be above reproach. Read more here
