Parent Help Wellington and Parentline Manawatu have recently merged their respective parent helplines to form one national helpline managed by Parent Help. Both organisations are affiliated to Jigsaw Inc, a family violence and child abuse prevention network.
Parent Help is a parent and family support service providing a range of services aimed at empowering parents to raise their children in an environment free from violence and neglect. Parent Help has been providing their helpline service since 1989 with an emphasis on early intervention through enhanced parenting skills. The National Parent Helpline will give families across New Zealand access to support 24/7.
