A symposium facilitated by internationally recognised expert in male trauma and sexual abuse recovery Rick Goodwin, from Ottawa Canada.
Day 1 is a conference style event for up to 300 attendees. The topic for Day 1 is:'TRUTH-TELLING: The Case Statement for Male Centred Trauma Therapy'.
Days 2-5 are an interactive, intensive training event, limited to 40 participants.
This training is for counsellors, psychotherapists, healthcare professionals, case managers, addictions workers, justice workers, as well as other front-line staff who have some clinical engagement with male clients. While a counselling background is necessary to benefit from all aspects of this training, peer counsellors who are currently working with male survivors are warmly welcomed.
