From Growing Up in New Zealand
Kia ora,
We're delighted to share with you that the latest report from Growing Up in New Zealand, Now We Are Eight: Life in Middle Childhood, has just been released.
The report provides a unique insight into the lives of eight-year-old New Zealand children, and for first time contains fascinating perspectives from the children themselves about who they are and how they see their place in the world.
In this newsletter, you can find out more about the Now We Are Eight report, along with the latest news and findings from the study:
- Now We Are Eight report launched
- How much sleep are New Zealand preschoolers really getting?
- Early childhood education leads to better friends but more illness
- Family behaviours can help children to develop self control
