In May‐June 2020 the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) partnered with Hui E! Community Aotearoa, Philanthropy New Zealand, and Volunteering New Zealand to conduct a national COVID‐19 impact survey funded by Foundation North across the tangata whenua, community and voluntary sector. The findings of the survey were published in the Time To Shine report and included some key areas where respondents identified a need for support.

CSI wants to help build capability and capacity in the community and voluntary sector to enable all these organisations to shine brightly and build back better after the disruption of COVID-19. We are delighted to announce the Kia Whiti Tonu Series, a free introductory programme of five 90 minute workshops that will cover grant writing, marketing and communications, innovation, strategy, and wellbeing. The sessions will offer practical learning with supplied ‘take home’ resources/toolkits.
