Job Vacancy at RPE: Programme Manager

Rape Prevention Education (RPE) Whakatu Mauri is a non-profit organisation working to eliminate sexual violence through the delivery of specialised training programmes for young people, professionals and communities.

We are looking for a motivated, positive and capable senior manager to lead our programme development and delivery. They will develop, promote and deliver high quality education programmes, as well as coordinate and provide professional development for RPE staff. 

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Maintaining the high quality delivery of existing programmes
  • Developing new programmes for professional education 
  • Training, developing and coaching staff
  • Continuous programme evaluation and reporting  
  • Developing and maintaining key relationships with community organisations and related stakeholders

The key skills and qualifications required for this role include:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Public Health or similar field preferred
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of sexual violence prevention
  • Experience in developing successful  prevention education programmes
  • Advanced facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience  managing a diverse team
  • Experience  in delivering health promotion messages to a range of audiences  
  • Experienced in developing policies that focus on sexual violence prevention services
  • Expertise in evaluation and reporting for programmes
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
