ACTIVATOR - HEALTHY FAMILIES WAITAKERE
(Full time one year fixed term)
Do you want to be part of an exciting approach to creating a healthier Waitakere?
Here is a great opportunity to be part of a team who will lead change to improve the health of our community where they live, learn, work and play.
Healthy Families Waitakere is seeking to appoint a systems thinker who has the skills to influence systems and empower community leadership to create healthier environments for our community. If you have knowledge, networks and connections in the Waitakere region in particular the Whau local board area then this might for you. The ideal person will have relationship skills, conceptual and analytical ability as well as innovation and flexibility. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen the prevention efforts in health is also a critical part of the role.
If you are passionate, innovative and up for a challenge and have the ability to build effective relationships with our community, this is for you. You will also have demonstrated a commitment to improving the health of Maori and Pacific communities. Experience in the health sector is not essential, however you must have a desire to support communities to become healthier.
