Helpers Needed for White Ribbon Stall in the Mall
November 19, 2014 at 2:52 PM
We are looking for some volunteers to help us man a stall in West City Mall to promote the White Ribbon Campaign next week.
We are looking for people to commit to 2 hours at a stall giving out white ribbons and balloons and promoting the White Ribbon March to be held on the 28th of November. The stall is about raising awareness not money - we are not accepting any money for the ribbons or as donations.
If you are available to help out, please contact sarah@waves.org.nz with the slot you are available and a contact number. We would also be grateful if people could indicate whether they have knowledge of issues around family violence. Ideally we would like to have at least one person on the stall who is knowledgeable about the sector in case the public have any questions.
The slots we are looking to fill are:
Monday 24th November 12 – 2 1 person
Tuesday 25th November 12 – 2 2 people
Tuesday 25th November 2 – 4 1 person
Wednesday 26th November 2 – 4 1 person
Thursday 27th November 10 – 12 2 people
Thursday 27th November 12 – 2 2 people
Thursday 27th November 2 – 4 1 person
We will contact all volunteers on Friday with further information.
