Focus Group: What is working well in the ED response to family violence

October 25, 2019 at 11:38 AM

From Shona Miriam McLeod, PhD Student at AUT

Shona Miriam McLeod is a PhD student at AUT researching what creates a useful Emergency Department response to women who have experienced abuse by a partner. As part of this research she is seeking staff and volunteers from organisations and community groups who work with women who have experience of family violence. A focus group will be held on Monday 11th November at the Mary Thomas Centre in Takapuna for people working in community organisations who would like to participate.

If there is enough interest then a second focus group in West Auckland might also be held – please contact Shona if you cannot attend the focus group in Takapuna but would be interested in being involved.
