A free online conference focused on working with vulnerable children. Prevention, intervention & practical tools provided.
This conference focuses on understanding and learning strategies for working with vulnerable children
Presentations:
- Early Intervention and prevention when working with vulnerable children and the impact of family violence on children
Gregory Nicolau - Founder and lead Consultant Psychologist, Australian Childhood Trauma Group - Local spotlight on child abuse and the role of our police child protection teams
Detective Sergeant Rob Lemoto - Bay of Plenty Police Child Protection Unit, NZ Police - A child victim/reformed perpetrator's journey of change
Jeremy Eparaima - Child Victim/Reformed Perpetrator, Family Violence It's Not OK campaign advocate - Overview of INSPIRE - an evidence based technical package designed to support countries in their efforts to prevent and respond to violence against children

The conference will be available to view online from Monday 12 October through until Friday 16 October 2020 via a private YouTube link which will be emailed to all registered attendees on the morning of Monday 12 October 2020.
On Wednesday 21 October there will be a live, 1 hour online Q&A session with all of the presenters. Note any questions you may have while watching the conference content throughout the week. Again, registered attendees will be emailed a link on the morning of the 21st to join the live session.
