Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) hosts the ANROWS National Research Conference on Violence against Women and their Children. Explore how practitioners, policy-makers, and researchers are using the evidence to understand, respond to and prevent violence against women and their children.
With the release of Australia's 4th Action Plan, national focus has turned to improving existing initiatives, and providing a platform for future policy.
This conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, and survivor-advocates to discuss “what works?” This includes reflecting on what works for whom and in what circumstances, what “working” means, and how we know an initiative is working. These reflections will inform shared conversations about how we demonstrate the evidence of impact and use that evidence to influence policy and practice.
