Community Capability and Resilience Fund

September 24, 2021 at 3:06 PM

From the Ministry of Social Development

Due to the recent August COVID-19 delta outbreak, the last funding round of the Community Capability and Resilience Fund has been extended, with applications now closing at 12pm midnight on Friday 1 October 2021.

If you’ve applied, you’ll hear from one of our team shortly about the outcome of your application. You can email if you have any questions.

The Community Capability and Resilience Fund is a fund available to iwi, hapü and community groups for initiatives that support the rebuild and recovery from COVID-19. The $36 million fund became available on 1 August 2020 to support communities over a two-year period.

The CCRF continues to build on the success of the Community Awareness and Preparedness Grant Fund (CAPG Fund), which was established by the government to provide immediate support to communities during the COVID-19 lockdown in early 2020. The purpose of the CCRF remains the same – it provides assistance and support for community groups working with priority populations, as they respond, rebuild and recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
