November 07, 2013 at 10:41 AM
Changes to alcohol legislation in New Zealand include a key outcome to create local alcohol policies which is a way communities have a say on licensing matters in their local community.
The Waitakere Community Action on Alcohol coalition has created an alcohol survey. This group of individuals and organisations aim to reduce alcohol-related harm in the Waitakere region. How? By ensuring that effective alcohol policies are implemented.
What do you think? Is alcohol a problem? or Is drinking alcohol a problem? Can the changes we need be possible in a local alcohol policy?
