TIARIA FLETCHER

MANAGER

Ko Te Arawa te waka, ko Tuhourangi te haapu.

Tiaria was born and raised in Rotorua and has lived in Waitakere/West Auckland for over 20 years.

She has a social work and community development background including almost 4 years teaching at Te Wanaanga o Aotearoa full time and teaching part time at Unitec for several years during the late 90’s early 2000’s. Currently the manager of WAVES Trust, Tiaria has been involved in the family violence sector for many years. She has a lifelong dedication to improving outcomes for all children impacted by abuse, neglect and poverty. From my tupuna – (a posse of strong and stroppy wahine) I inherited their love for the people but sadly not their love of rotten corn or kina. There is much bonding to be had over consuming these delicacies; I have missed out on so much Frown

Charlotte.jpgCHARLOTTE MOORE MA (1st Class Honours)

NETWORK COORDINATOR & RESEARCH ANALYST

Charlotte Moore fills the role of Research Analyst and Network Coordinator at WAVES Trust. She held a number of roles in both the public sector and the private sector before returning to the University of Auckland to study Sociology and Maori Studies. Her recently completed Master’s thesis focussed on the government’s Whanau Ora approach to social service delivery. Charlotte has a strong focus on social policy and social justice issues. She is also a passionate Westie and treasures being able to live and work in West Auckland. From her ancestors she has inherited a fondness for gin, and a keen sense of the ridiculous.

SARAH ENSOR

ADMINISTRATOR

Sarah Ensor is the administrator for WAVES Trust and is new to the public sector, having worked in a variety of roles in the private sector for 20 years.  Sarah has four children and is currently studying part-time towards a Bachelor of Arts through Massey University, so life is very busy!  From her ancestors she has inherited persistence and a love of Monty Python.
