Workshop: Strangulation in the context of Intimate Partner Violence

Training
Organised by Rob Veale. It is critical that agencies, professionals and the wider community recognise the signs, symptoms and dynamics associated with strangulation in the context of intimate partner violence (IPV). Described as ‘a red flag on the trajectory to homicide’, strangulation together with other associated risk markers should be considered in all risk assessment and safety planning processes. Wednesday 14th April 2021, 9.30am-2.30pm in Henderson. Please note that there are two other Auckland workshops – Tuesday 13th April in the Auckland CBD and Thursday 15th April in Three Kings
